Dublin-born David Corr was a scholar of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where he completed a Masters's in Performance (Vocal Studies) under the tutelage of Scott Johnson. He is the 2021/2022 recipient of the Irish Heritage Brackaville Bursary for Vocal Studies.
David has developed a strong reputation for performing Irish songs, English songs, Oratorio and Opera and has performed in many prestigious venues including the National Concert Hall, Wigmore Hall (London) the Royal Overseas League’ Princess Alexandra’s Hall (London). David has performed in main stage productions with Irish National Opera and Northern Ireland Opera. Performances

His solo Oratorio performances have included the baritone solo role in Oratorio de Noël by Camille Saint-Saens and the bass solo in Handel's Messiah. In 2019 he was the bass soloist at the Belfast Philharmonic Society ‘Messiah' event with the Ulster Orchestra. David was bass soloist, in Haydn's Creation with the Wexford Festival Singers and Waterford Concert Orchestra in November 2019.
David has worked in the Blackwater Opera Festival for three years.
In 2019 David was selected by Irish National Opera to participate in the Young Artists Showcase.
